Terms and Conditions
Research Use Only
Research Use Only
All products sold by Peps R Us are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic goods and are not intended for human or animal consumption.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website and placing an order with Peps R Us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access the website or purchase any products.
Age & Capacity
By entering this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Peps R Us does not knowingly accept orders from, or supply products to, persons under 18. Peps R Us may cancel any order, refund any payment, and restrict any account where age cannot be reasonably verified or has been misrepresented.
Research Use Restrictions
All products supplied by Peps R Us are sold exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes. By purchasing from Peps R Us, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Products are not for human or animal consumption
- Products are not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic goods
- Products will be used solely for legitimate research purposes
- You are qualified to handle and use research materials responsibly
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the handling and use of these products
Acceptable Use
By accessing the Peps R Us website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation
- Use automated tools — including scrapers, crawlers, bots, or harvesters — to access, copy, index, or collect content from the website except as expressly permitted
- Copy, reproduce, republish, mirror, or distribute any part of the website or its content without prior written consent
- Impersonate any person, business, or affiliation, or provide false or misleading information at registration or checkout

Product Information
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions and specifications are accurate, Peps R Us does not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Products are supplied strictly for research purposes and should be independently verified for suitability within your specific application.
Orders & Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. Prices may be updated at any time without prior notice. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Peps R Us reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion. A tax invoice is issued for each paid order.
Preorders & Backorders
Some products may be offered for preorder when current sale stock has sold out but the next batch is physically on hand and undergoing laboratory verification before release. Preorder availability is indicated on the relevant product page and reflects stock that is in our possession at the time of sale, not stock that has yet to be sourced or manufactured.
Preorder items are paid for in full at checkout in the same way as any other order. The order is then held in Awaiting Stock until the batch clears its lab verification and is released for dispatch, at which point it joins the normal dispatch queue.
Indicative lead times are shown on the product page where known. If the awaiting batch fails its verification and cannot be released for sale, Peps R Us will contact the customer and issue a refund or store credit, at the customer's choice, equal to the value of the affected items.
A customer may request cancellation of a preorder at any time before the order enters Awaiting Shipping by contacting support. The value of the cancelled item(s) is returned as a refund or store credit, at the customer's choice.
Account Restrictions
Peps R Us reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or block any customer account or email address at its sole discretion. This may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Suspected fraudulent activity or chargebacks
- Repeated non-payment or failure to complete orders
- Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff
- Evidence of misuse of products in breach of research-use terms
- Providing false or misleading information
Restricted accounts will be unable to place new orders. Any existing store credit associated with a restricted account may be frozen. Peps R Us is not obligated to provide a reason for any account restriction and all decisions are final.
Payment
Peps R Us accepts multiple payment methods, including card payments, as presented at checkout. Card payments are processed instantly through a third-party payment processor. Peps R Us does not store or process card details directly.
Minimum order: a minimum order value of $30.00 AUD applies to all orders. Orders below this threshold cannot be submitted. This minimum is calculated on the product subtotal before shipping.
Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped using Australia Post Express only. Orders are fulfilled and dispatched within Australia. Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post Express are estimates and are not guaranteed. Peps R Us is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or circumstances beyond our control.
- Flat shipping fee: $10.00 AUD, orders under $250
- Free shipping on orders $250+ AUD
- Carrier: AusPost Express only
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is handed to the shipping carrier.
Delivery Instructions & Authority to Leave
At checkout, customers may choose between two delivery handling options:
Authority to Leave (default): the carrier is authorised to leave the parcel at the delivery address (e.g. front door, porch) without obtaining a signature. This is the default and applies unless Signature on Delivery is added at checkout.
Signature on Delivery (optional add-on): for an additional fee ($4.95; free on orders over $350), the carrier must obtain a signature from a person at the delivery address before releasing the parcel. If no one is available, the parcel is carded and held at the nearest post office for collection.
By proceeding with Authority to Leave (the default), the customer accepts full responsibility for the parcel once it has been delivered to the nominated address. Peps R Us will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to parcels left unattended at the customer's request.
Lost or Missing Parcels
Tracking shows "Delivered" — Authority to Leave (default): the customer accepted full responsibility for the parcel at checkout. No replacement or refund will be provided.
Tracking shows "Delivered" — Signature on Delivery added: if a valid signature was obtained, the parcel was received. If the customer disputes receiving the parcel, they should lodge a formal investigation with Australia Post directly.
Parcel lost in transit: the customer must report this within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. Peps R Us will lodge an investigation with Australia Post. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, store credit equal to the order value will be applied to the customer's account.
Incorrect shipping address — customer error: customers are responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address. If a parcel is dispatched to an incorrect address that was not updated before dispatch, no refund or replacement will be provided.
Address errors caused by Peps R Us: in the rare event that Peps R Us makes a data-entry error, the customer must contact support within 48 hours of dispatch and Peps R Us will arrange a replacement at its own cost.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the nature of research materials and payment processing:
- All sales are final
- Returns and refunds are not offered
- Orders cancelled due to non-payment or incomplete payment are voided without refund
- Parcels marked as delivered are not eligible for refund, replacement, or credit
- Claims for parcels lost in transit must be reported within 14 days of the estimated delivery date
If a product is received damaged or incorrect, customers must contact support within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Any resolution is assessed at Peps R Us's discretion.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Store Credit
- Store credit is issued only after payment is confirmed
- Store credit can be applied to future orders only when signed in using the same email address
- Store credit is applied automatically at checkout, up to the order subtotal. It cannot be redeemed for cash
- Store credit expires 12 months after the date it is issued unless otherwise required by law
- If an order is cancelled or refunded, we may adjust issued or applied store credit to reflect the correct balance

Force Majeure
Peps R Us is not liable for any delay or failure to perform under these Terms to the extent it is caused by an event beyond Peps R Us's reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to: carrier disruptions, postal strikes or service suspensions, customs holds, natural disasters, fires, floods, pandemics, acts of government, civil unrest, power or telecommunications outages, and supply-chain or manufacturing interruptions.
